How to Create a Facebook Ads Account & Transfer It to the MaidThis Business Suite

Step 1: Create a Meta Business Manager Account

  1. Go to Meta Business Suite and click “Get Started.”
  2. Log in with your Facebook account.
  3. Click “Create Business Portfolio”, enter your business name and email, then confirm.
  4. Link your Facebook Page or create a new one.

Step 2: Set Up an Ad Account

  1. In Meta Business Suite, go to Business Settings > Ad Accounts.
  2. Click “Add” > “Create a New Ad Account”.
  3. Enter account name, time zone, and currency, then confirm.
  4. Assign people (optional) and link the ad account to your business page.

Step 3: Add a Payment Method

  1. Go to Billing under Business Settings.
  2. Click “Add Payment Method”and choose:
    • Credit/Debit Card
    • PayPal
    • Direct Bank Transfer (if available)
  3. Enter details and save.

Step 4: Transfer the Ad Account to Your Business Suite

  1. In Meta Business Suite, go to Business Settings > Ad Accounts.
  2. Click “Add” > “Claim an Existing Ad Account.”
  3. Enter the Ad Account ID (found in Ads Manager).
  4. Confirm the transfer and ensure it's linked to your business.
