1. Be Logged into a Personal LinkedIn Account
You need a personal LinkedIn profile first. The person creating the Page will be the admin initially.
Your account should be in good standing (email verified, not brand new) to avoid restrictions.
2. Navigate to the Create Page Section
From your LinkedIn homepage, click on the “Work” icon (grid of squares) in the upper‑right corner.
In the menu that appears, select “Create a Company Page +” or “Create a Company Page.”
3. Choose the Right Page Type
LinkedIn offers different options. For a MaidThis franchise, you would use “Company / Business” (for a regular business).
There are other types like Showcase Pages (for sub‑brands/projects), and Educational Institution. Choose “Company” so you can represent your franchise properly.
4. Enter Basic Business Details
You’ll need to fill out fields like:
Field | What to Enter / Think About |
|---|---|
Company Name | MaidThis Franchise – use the official name you want people to search/find. |
LinkedIn Public URL | Often auto‑generated from name, but customize if possible (e.g. linkedin.com/company/maidthis‑[city]). |
Website | Your franchise’s website or the MaidThis corporate site + local page if applicable. |
Industry | Something like “Cleaning Services,” “Facilities Services,” or “Home Services.” |
Company Size | Number of employees (including franchise staff). |
Company Type | Private company or franchise business. |
Tagline / Slogan | A short phrase that sums up what MaidThis does (e.g. “Professional home cleaning, on demand,” or your local differentiator). |
5. Upload Visuals & Branding
Logo: Must be high quality. Recommended dimensions: ~300 x 300 px (square). This helps with recognizability.
Cover (Banner) Image: Something wider that represents MaidThis’s brand well — maybe a clean home, staff in MaidThis uniform, or service in action.
Brand colors / visuals: Keep consistent with MaidThis branding so people recognize your page.
6. Complete Additional Profile Sections
Fill in all sections to make the page richer:
About: Describe what MaidThis offers, the franchise’s unique value, mission, how you serve customers, values. Use keywords relevant to cleaning, housekeeping, maid services.
Specialties: Up to some number (LinkedIn allows multiple) – what services do you specialize in? (“Deep clean,” “Recurring clean,” “Move‑in/out,” “Green cleaning,” etc.)
Location(s): Physical address of your franchise. If you serve multiple areas, mention them.
Contact info: Website, phone number, email.
Hashtags: Add a few relevant ones to help people find you. E.g. #housecleaning, #maidservice, #homecare.
7. Confirm & Publish
After filling required fields, you may need to check a box confirming that you have the rights to represent the company.
Click “Create Page”. Once published, the page is live. But you’ll want to improve it further.
8. Manage & Grow the Page
Assign admins or managers if others in your franchise or corporate team need access.
Regularly post updates: before/after photos, customer testimonials, staff features, promos, cleaning tips.
Engage with followers: respond to comments, messages.
Monitor analytics: see what types of posts work best, growth of followers, visitor behavior.
